Majorca pearls are produced using uncompromising standards in a controlled environmentally stable process similar to the oyster’s own.

Pearls should be stored separately to avoid scratches. After wearing them, you should clean them with a soft cloth moistened with lukewarm water mixed with a mild soap. Rinse with another soft cloth moistened with clear water and dry with a third soft cloth before storing them.

Do not swim with your pearls. They cannot come in contact with chlorine or sea water. Hair spray, cosmetics, especially make-up and perfume, can dull the Majorca Pearl’s luster over time and cause spots and blotches to form. To avoid these effects, pearls should be the last thing a woman puts on before going out, and the first thing she takes off after returning home.

The best way to care for your pearls is to wear them often! The body’s natural oils help to keep their luster. (add the following in red) However, after a time, it is possible that you will have to replace the silk string. If you see any failure on the thread, find a professional jeweler to re-string your necklace. This will prevent the loss of pearls and insure their longevity.
